Librarian In his description of the Fiftieth Boy, Dr. Frank Crane describes the rare individual who embodies such admirable qualities as positive attitude, responsibility, consideration for others, helpfulness and honesty.

 Each year, Kennedale Jr. High School recognizes one 8th grade boy and one 8th grade girl who exemplify these personal traits. This year’s award winners are Jay Jurchisin (son of Amy and William Jurchisin) and Darby Floyd (daughter of Linda and Tyge Floyd). Our congratulations go out to these two outstanding young people!
