Whitey Wells of Kennedale passed away last night about 7:40 pm.

Wells is survived by Betty, his wife of 21 years.

He's at Emerald Hills in Kennedale.

Betty says the visitation will more than likely be Sunday, but arrangements are pending.

Born April 10, 1935 Wells received a heart-transplant in 1996.   He was featured in Kennedale News in March of this year.  He was 75 years old.

UPDATE:  The visitation is at Emerald Hills in Kennedale on Sunday August 1 from 2-4pm.  Funeral services will be Monday at 10am.  A pot luck lunch is scheduled at the Pitt Stop immediately following.
