On Thursday February 25th the Kennedale Board of Adjustments granted special exceptions to Chesapeake Energy for two more well permits for the Sublett Road site. Currently there are 2 wells drilled at the location with a total of 11 wells on the horizon.
These special exceptions had been put on hold for the past couple of months because of concerns voiced by BOA members and citizens regarding reports from TCEQ on toxic chemicals in the air and ground water.
The BOA approved drilling of two more wells with 12 conditions listed below. Most of those conditions address the aesthetics and noise concerns. Only one of the conditions have to do with environmental (air) testing; none to do with ground water.Write Comment (0 comments)

Last night Kennedale police officer Jeremiah Brown was quietly arrested inside the Kennedale PD and taken to Tarrant County, where he bonded out.
